Recipe for Pizza Burger

Recipe from A Campbells cookbook cooking with soup

¼ cup chopped onion

2 TBSP shortening

1 pound ground beef

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed tomato soup

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/8  tsp oregano

Dash of pepper

8 buns split and toasted

Brown onion in shortening, add beef cook until browned; Stir often to separate meat particles. Add soup, cheese, oregano, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve on buns. 8 servings

Easy weeknight meal. Using what you have. Pantry cooking. Budget cooking.
