Recipe for Easy Onion Rings
Recipe from Southern Living Annuals recipes 1980
1 Large onion
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp vegetable oil
Vegetable oil for frying
Peel onion and cut into ¼ inch slices and separate into
rings.
Combine dry ingredients, stir well. Add eggs, milk and 1 tsp
of oil, and beat until smooth. Dip onion rings into batter; fry in deep hot oil
(375 degrees) until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Yield 4 to 6 servings.
