Pan Fried Tomatoes
Recipe from The Bisquick Banner 1982
½ Cup Bisquick baking mix
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
4 medium green or red tomatoes, cut into ¾ inch slices
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/3 cup of butter
Mix baking mix, salt, pepper. Dip tomatoes into eggs; coat
with baking mixture. Heat butter in a 10 skillet over medium heat until it
melts. Add tomatoes. Cook, turning once, until golden brown. 4 to 6 servings.
