Rhubarberry Sauce

Rhubarberry Sauce

Recipe from Betty Crocker Boys and Girls cookbook

2 Cups of strawberries

½ cup water

1 package (16oz) frozen rhubarb

2 TBSP sugar

1/8 tsp ginger

Wash 2 cups of strawberries and remove stems. Heat ½ cup water to boiling in saucepan over medium high heat. Add the Rhubarb and 2 TBSP sugar. Reduce heat. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring with fork to break the rhubarb apart. Remove from heat.

Stir in the strawberries and 1/8 tsp ginger. Serve warm or cold.
