Todays recipe is a great child friendly family friendly recipe. This soup is quick and easy and very budget friendly.
Easy ABC Soup
Recipe from Pillsbury Booklet Family Fun Cookbook 1983
6 Cups Chicken broth
2 Cups cubed, cooked chicken
2 Cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables
½ Cup Chopped Celery
¼ Cups onion
½ tsp thyme leaves
1 bay leaf
1 Cup alphabet macaroni
Salt and pepper
In 4 Quart saucepan or Dutch oven, combine broth, chicken,
vegetables, celery, onion, thyme and bay leaf. Bring to boil; reduce heat and
stir in macaroni. Simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until vegetables and macaroni are
tender. Remove bay leaf, season to taste. 10 1 ¼ cups servings
