Easy Lemon Chicken
Recipe from Rosauers Aisle one newsletter 1978
2 Lemons
2 Chicken breasts, skinned and cut in half
¼ cup flour
½ tsp paprika
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP brown sugar
1 ½ tsp salt
½ cup Chicken broth
Grate the rind from one lemon, set aside. Squeeze juice over
chicken. Mix flour and paprika. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Brown in
Butter in skillet. Sprinkle Chicken with reserved lemon rind, sugar and salt.
Add broth. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 25 minutes. Cut second lemon into
slices. Arrange over chicken. Cook for 10 more minutes, until it’s done. Serves
