Red Chili Chips
Recipe from Goose Berry Patch Blue Plate Specials
3 Idaho Potatoes, Thinly Sliced
Oil for Deep Frying
½ tsp Chili powder
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp onion salt
¼ tsp salt
Soak potato slices in ice water for 30 minutes; drain and
pat dry with paper towels. Deep fry potatoes in 350-degree oil until golden;
remove with slotted spoon, drain and place in serving bowl. Combine the
remaining ingredients, shake over chips. Toss to coat evenly; serve warm Makes
8 servings.

potatoes***
