Recipe for Beef Roll Ups
Recipe from the Community cookbook The Gingham Gourmet 1975
2-pound round steak
2 cups stuffing mix
2 TBSP shortening
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup water
½ cup sour cream
Cut meat into 8 pieces. Prepare stuffing mix and place
spoonful on each piece of meat, roll up and fasten with toothpicks. Brown in
shortening, add 1 can soup and ½ cup water. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours.
Basting occasionally. Stir in sour cream just before serving.
**can use thin pieces of steak, you want long 3 to 4 inches
wide and long enough to “roll up” ***
