Recipe for very simple easy Strawberry Sauce
Strawberry Sauce
Recipe from Southern Living 1987
1 (10oz) Package Frozen Strawberries, thawed
1 ½ TBSP cornstarch
1 TBSP Lemon juice
Place strawberries in a liquid measuring cup; add enough
water to measure 2 cups. Combine cornstarch and lemon juice in a saucepan; stir
well. Add Strawberries; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until
thickened and smooth. Chill. Serve over ice cream or pound cake. Yield 2 cups. You
could use it over pancakes, waffles, biscuits etc.
