Short Cut baked beans

5 Slices thick cut bacon, chopped
1 small onion chopped
3 ½ cups water
1-pound dried pinto beans, sorted and rinsed
1 cup barbecue sauce
¼ cup ketchup
½ tsp salt
Press sauté button; cook bacon in the instant pot until
crisp. Drain off all but 1TBSP of the drippings. Add onion to pot; cook and stir
for 3 minutes or until softened. Add water and beans and cook for 1 minute,
scraping up browned bits from bottom of pot. Stir in the barbecue sauce, the ketchup
and mix well. Secure lid and move pressure release valve to sealing position.
Press pressure cook or manual; cook at high pressure for 50 minutes. When
cooking is complete, use natural release for 15 minutes, then release pressure.
Stir beans, season with salt. If there is an excess liquid in pot press sauté and
cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until liquid is reduced, stir frequently
