Ranger Crisp Cookies

 These delightful Valentine's week cookies are a perfect treat to share with loved ones. Enjoy baking and eating these cookies with your kids, creating lasting memories and delicious treats!

Ranger Crisp Cookies

Recipe from Pillsbury booklet Come and eat 2003

1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Packed brown sugar

½ cup butter, softened

1/3 cup shortening

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

2 ¼ cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp of salt

3 cups of crisp rice cereal

Heat oven to 375- degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets. In large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, butter and shortening; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, blend well.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in cereal. Drop dough by rounds teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375-degrees for 8 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute; remove cookies from cookie sheets.
