1 Pizza dough recipe made up
Or crescent rolls
8 Hot dogs cut into 1/3rds
1 egg plus 1 TBSP water beaten
opt Stone ground mustard.
opt sesame seeds, everything bagel seasoning
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Ready pizza dough, make 24 balls flatten into strips and
spread with mustard add piece of hot dog and roll up hot dog in the dough or
fully cover the hotdog piece with dough. Put onto sheet pan and let rise 20
mins. Use egg wash on top of dough and add toppings of choice. Bake 12-15
minutes. Serve with mustard, ketchup or marinara sauce.
Easy Homemade Pizza Dough
1 Cup Warm water (110-115 degrees)
1 package Active dry yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
1 tsp sugar
2 ½ cups Flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 TBSP olive oil
1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 450-degrees. Grease pizza pan.
Mix water, yeast, sugar and proof yeast for about 10 mins. Add flour, baking powder, oil, salt to mixture. Mix on medium speed in mixer until dough starts to pull away from sides and a soft, sticky dough forms. Cover dough and rest for 5 minutes. Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Roll to fit pizza pan. Transfer to pan. Top with toppings as desired. Bake until golden brown and lightly crisp for 15-20 minutes. Let it cool 5 minutes before serving.
