Today's recipe is a simple and fast way to make a pie crust. This pie crust would be good for pot pies and maybe more savory dishes, not for sweet treats. but of course your flavor profile and tastes are personal and each person has to make that decision for themselves.
No Roll Pie Crust
Recipe from vintage recipe box handwritten recipe note circa
1980’s
1 ½ Cup flour
2 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
½ cup salad oil
2 TBSP milk
Mix oil and milk in a bowl. Mix dry ingredients in pie
plate. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet
ingredients. Mix well with a fork and press in pie pan and press out to sides. Preheat
oven to 450 degrees. Bake in oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
