Today's recipe is a quick and easy salad recipe. when you have extra cauliflower and broccoli on hand this is a great salad for a side for dinner, great to take to a potluck, or for a BBQ.
Broccoli Cauliflower Salad
Vintage recipe card circa 1980’s
1 med head cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli
1 small red onion separated into rings
¼ pound bacon, fried and crumbled
1/3 Cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of mayo
Salt and pepper to taste
Separate cauliflower into flowerets, cut into pieces. Chop
broccoli. Combine cauliflower, broccoli, bacon, onion, and cheese. Mix sugar,
mayo, salt and pepper. Add to vegetable mix. Refrigerate overnight.
